Kit for the junior members, aged from under 11 upwards when they start to play competitive matches, consists of the Finch netball dress and a black hoody.  Girls should wear black tracksuit bottoms or leggings.  Some girls prefer to wear a thermal top under their dresses and we prefer this to be white for the juniors.

The cost of the dress is £28 and the hoodies are £15 or £20 depending on size (prices as at 1 July 2017).  In addition members may purchase t-shirts at £8.00

Trainers – It is very important, right from the youngest age groups, that girls wear the correct type of trainers for netball.   If you are planning to buy new trainers can we please ask that you do not buy trainers with velcro fastenings – we know these are easy for the younger girls to do up but you cannot tighten up the trainer sufficiently.  Trainers with laces can be tightened to provide the best fit and so help support the ankle and avoid injuries.

 Do not buy trainers with flat based soles; trainers with cushioned soles are more flexible and help to absorb shock from jumping.  It is more difficult to pivot and move your foot in the correct way for netball with flat based soles.
