About

Finchampstead Netball Club is based at the Finchampstead Sports & Social Club, Memorial Ground Site (RG40 4JU) in the village of Finchampstead in Berkshire.

The senior section of the club caters for players of all abilities from aged 16+.  Training takes place on Monday evenings from 7:30 – 9:00pm, either outside at the Sports & Social Club venue, where we have two floodlit courts, or during the winter months at St Neot’s School in Eversley (RG27 0PN).

The Club presently has four teams playing on Saturday mornings in the Bracknell & District Netball League (at King’s Academy, Bracknell) and a further team who play in the Berkshire Premier League on Saturday afternoons (at St Crispin’s, Wokingham).

Players of all standards are welcome.  New players of a good standard will usually join a team immediately and those less experienced will continue to train until the senior coach feels they are ready for competitive play.

We have a thriving junior section with girls from aged 7 – 16 years.  Further information on the juniors can be found under the Junior section of the website.

The Club has achieved Bronze status of the England Netball Club Action Planning Scheme (CAPS) programme.

CAPS is aligned to the Sport England Clubmark accreditation scheme which is the only National cross sports quality accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections. It is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards.
